EASY TO USE

To generate a Lead I ECG, rest the electrodes on the fingers from each hand (iPhone Home button should be on the right). The app senses skin contact on the sensors and when an acceptable connection is made it counts down to initiate the ECG recording. Set your app to take 30 second, and up to continuous, rhythm strips. While the ECG records it will also display heart rate. ECGs over 10 seconds are automatically saved in the app for review and can be annotated with details or can be discarded. ECGs can be inverted if needed and gain and paper speed adjusted as well.

In clinical trials, AliveCor’s Heart Monitor demonstrated clinical efficacy. The Heart Monitor is an ideal tool for quick, accurate screening and recording.

POWERFUL

Our clinical-quality, single-channel ECG recorder leverages the power, display, and communication capabilities of the iPhone 4, 4S and 5. The Heart Monitor does not use power from the iPhone, but utilizes a 3.0V coin cell battery that will take roughly 8,000, 30-second ECGs before needing replacement. The Heart Monitor also uses AliveCor’s proprietary wireless communication protocol to communicate with the app, and requires no pairing between the iPhone and the Heart Monitor.

ALIVECOR ECG SERVER

AliveCor.com provides you with anytime, anywhere, fully secure, HIPAA-compliant online access to all of your ECGs. Protected health information (ECGs) and personally identifiable information are encrypted in transit and at rest. Once you have the Heart Monitor and the AliveECG app you can create an account that gives you access to your protected ECG data.

CLINICAL SUPPORT

AliveCor’s Heart Monitor has been used in several clinical trials along with rigorous testing through numerous medical professionals and in many ongoing studies at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, USC’s Center for Body Computing, and other institutions. **PRESCRIBED PATIENT PURCHASE PROCESS**

If you are a patient, please follow these steps to obtain an AliveCor Heart Monitor:

1) If you haven’t already, obtain a prescription for the “AliveCor Heart Monitor for iPhone 4/4S” or “AliveCor Heart Monitor for iPhone 5″ from your physician.  You can download and print out our product sheet here.

2) Go here and submit the following:

a.  Your doctor’s name, address, phone number, license number and license state or NPI (National Provider Identifier)

b.  Attach a copy of your prescription to the request (a scanned copy or photo is sufficient)

3) Once you have obtained your prescription and submitted a copy of this prescription to AliveCor, go to www.alivecor.com and click on the “Buy Now” link in the upper right to purchase your monitor

a.  In the “NPI/State Medical Lic #” enter “Prescription”

NOTE: Your credit card will be charged once you place your order, however we can’t process your order unless we have received your prescription.  Thus, do not order your monitor until after you have emailed us a copy of your prescription.
